Putting Fuchsias to Bed
Store your winterized fuchsias in a protected area. Water a little throughout the winter, as Sue explains.
Some fuchsias will hang from the rafters. Others will sit on the floor. They will all benefit from restoring their energy.
This is the same plant in the corner of the first photo above it. Here is how the plant looked in October, lush and green, it will need to be "reduced" 1/3 to 2/3 to fit into winter storage space. Cut back only enough to fit. You will reduce it more in the spring when it is moved outside.
