Aphids, spider mites, & white fly are all attracted to yellow sticky cards. To make your own sticky cards cut a piece of cardboard in whatever shape and size you desire. Paint the cardboard with yellow spray paint. Attach a stake to the back of the cardboard. A paint stick works well for this. Spread a coat of Tanglefoot (found in most garden centers) on the card. Place the sticky cards amongst your plants.
Another option is to coat a yellow Solo cup with Tanglefoot and attach to a stake.
